This existing Noosa Heads home, with its spectacular outlook and distinctive mid-century modern character, underwent a considered extension and renovation designed to preserve what made the property special.

The owners wanted to honour the home’s original architectural language while improving the way it supported contemporary living. A portion of the existing outdoor area was enclosed to create a more generous kitchen, while the split-level layout was retained and enhanced with a new dining nook and built-in banquette.

A refined, sophisticated palette of natural timber, warm stone, terrazzo, earthy colour and black metal detailing brings cohesion to the interiors, creating a home that feels both grounded in its original character and carefully renewed for the future.
