My role is to guide the process with clarity, care and creativity, so the experience feels less overwhelming and the outcome feels aligned with the way you live, work or invest.
My Story
After two decades working across projects of all shapes and sizes in architectural firms, I discovered what I find most rewarding: working closely with people to shape spaces that genuinely support the way they live, work and grow.
That realisation led me to create Curvature Design Studio — a practice built around thoughtful design, practical guidance and a more personal way of working.
Originally from Mexico City, I studied architecture there before furthering my education in Florence, Italy, and Melbourne, Australia. In 2001, I first fell in love with Australia and its way of life. Today, as a registered architect in both Mexico and Australia, I’ve called Brisbane home for the past 18 years.
Life at home is lively. With a wonderful husband and four boys, I deeply understand the importance of creating spaces that work hard for real life. A well-designed home is not just about how it looks — it’s about flexibility, ease, connection, productivity and the moments of joy that happen within it.
At Curvature Design Studio, I don’t believe in simply chasing trends or replicating Pinterest boards. I believe in creating spaces with personality, purpose and soul — guided by thoughtful decisions and a clear understanding of what matters most.
